United in Diversity. Empowering Communities. Building a Better Future.

COCASA brings Cameroonians and friends of Cameroon together in South Africa to promote unity, dignity, social development and collective progress.

Through community support, youth empowerment, women’s advancement and cultural initiatives, we are building a stronger, more inclusive community where everyone has an opportunity to contribute and thrive.

Welcome to COCASA

A home for community, solidarity and shared progress.

The Cameroonian Community in South Africa Forum (CCSA), known in French as La Colonie Camerounaise en Afrique du Sud (COCASA), is a community-based organisation committed to uniting Cameroonians, promoting social cohesion and advancing the welfare of our community.

We recognise that our strength lies in our diversity — our languages, cultures, beliefs, talents and shared aspirations. We provide a platform where people can connect, support one another and work collectively towards a more prosperous and inclusive future.

Our work focuses on community welfare, youth development, women’s empowerment, cultural heritage, advocacy and partnerships that create meaningful opportunities for individuals and families.

Whether you are a community member, prospective volunteer, donor, sponsor or institutional partner, you can be part of the change we are working to create.
